Galen group in Westmalle monastery

This year’s CAW reading seminar (Abbey of Westmalle, 20-21 September 2019) will be devoted to Galen’s The Capacities of the Soul Follow the Mixtures of the Body. The Galen group will introduce the participants to this late treatise on the body-soul relationship and read it with them in six consecutive sessions. The treatise is also the subject of an article by Robert Vinkesteijn forthcoming in Phronesis (see personal page).
