Galen’s notion of dialectic: lecture in Prague

The Czech Institute of Philosophy organizes a colloquium on Galen’s Epistemology to be held on October 19-21. During the colloquium, Prof Teun Tieleman is invited to speak and presents on ‘Galen’s notion of dialectic,’ taking a fresh look at some of the points he first raised in Tieleman (1996a) concerning Galen’s method of finding assumptions and arguments to be used in philosophical and scientific discourse.
