Lectures in Greece

Prof Teun Tieleman and Dr Julia Trompeter will be presenting in Greece on December the 8-10th. Prof Teun Tieleman’s lecture is called ‘The Stoic philosopher Posidonius and Greco-Roman Medical Tradition’, while Dr Julia Trompeter gives a talk on ‘Moderation cum Eradication – Emotions in Galen’s Moral Psychology’. Both will be at the Ancient Emotions Conference II, ‘Medical understandings of  emotions in antiquity’.
